Three everyday examples for this design.

Hold a suitable interior door open while bringing shopping into a room, nudging the wedge into place with your foot.
Keep a room door still during floor cleaning, then release the wedge with a gentle foot movement.
When carrying a laundry basket through an ordinary interior doorway, position the wedge first to keep the route open.

THE IDEA BEHIND IT

A small detail,
thought all the way through.

A low tapered front slides under the door while a raised rounded heel provides a clear foot target. The design stays compact to avoid turning a small convenience into a large obstacle.
