Butter Dish with Stop
Keep the butter where your knife expects it.

Shallow open grooves are intended to help a damp glass lift cleanly.
The same design in four finishes. Natural materials keep their character. Final color and finish will be matched on physical samples.
A good idea in development.
Concept visualization. Not yet available for purchase. Materials, dimensions and performance are proposed until prototyping and testing.
A concept scene illustrating the intended use.
Three everyday examples for this design.
Set a cold water glass on the coaster beside your laptop, with the base centred over the grooves.
Use a coaster for each chilled drink on the coffee table and wipe away condensation afterwards.
Keep one beside a reading chair for a glass that you lift and replace throughout the evening.
Raised ribs are intended to lift the glass above the surrounding rim and leave an open path for air. The design aims to reduce contact with pooled water; its behavior with different glass bases will be checked in prototypes.
Lower the outer rim below rib crests and verify air continuity in CAD; reject a continuous high rim that seals a wet glass base.
